New federal framework agreement on telemedicine

With the adoption of the new federal framework agreement on telemedicine, statutory health insurance in Germany has taken a decisive step towards modern, digitally supported healthcare. For the first time, the agreement creates a binding framework for the nationwide use of telemedicine services - and places clear requirements on service providers and technology providers.

medivise Healthcare GmbH expressly welcomes this step - and is already in a position to provide a fully compliant solution. Together with strong partners such as arztkonsultation and eHealth-Connect, medivise has developed an integrated care model that fulfils all the regulations of the new federal healthcare contract: from the TI connection to billing and documentation through to medical quality assurance.

At the centre of this solution is the medivise health box, which combines telemedicine, diagnostics and digital communication in a modular system. It enables low-threshold, patient-centred care - for example in pharmacies, care facilities, companies or rural areas. Particularly relevant: The box already fulfils the requirements for telemedicine use defined in the Federal Healthcare Contract.

"Telemedicine must not fail due to technical or regulatory hurdles. Our aim is to deliver solutions that are legally compliant, suitable for everyday use and ready for immediate use," says the medivise team. With the health box, a system is now available that is optimally adapted to the new contractual situation, both medically and organisationally.

The federal healthcare contract offers great potential for closing gaps in care, relieving the burden on medical staff and offering patients more flexibility. medivise sees it as its responsibility to actively help shape these opportunities - not in the distant future, but now.
